I live in zone 10a (coastal Southern California) and would like to know if anyone can please help me identify this "mold" growing in my otherwise healthy Dymondia margaretae. These foam-like growths have sprung three times in the last month or so, at different spots in the silver carpet area of my garden. They seem to pop up very quickly (in one hour or less) and I remove them immediately so I do not know if they would cause damage if they were left on site. The area is in full sun and is not over watered. Has anyone encountered the same problem and could share the solution with me? Thank you very much
