Nice 80,s vintage Stihl 60 cc class saw . Looks to be in good condition $100.00 to your best friend or $ 250.00 to outsiders ! The Super Recycler with the Briggs with the purge bulb is a quality find too . Send it North lol.

i figured you'd get a kick out of that stuff. i was pretty stoked after finding that saw. the fact that it started and revved, you never know what you bought until you know. haven't checked to see if the bar oiler is working and it idles a little low but that old stihl engine tone is nice!

I,am 3 shades of green ! lol. As for the bar oil , if possible use wintergrade may use a little more , but since its lighter it will ensure good flow which assists within preventing plugging and better cools the bar . Enjoy Bud !

as suspected, the toro came alive after a quick carb clean, spark plug clean and bang the air filter a couple times. i'll stow it until next spring and make a little profit.

finally got around to messing with that saw. oil tank was empty, oils fine. turned up the idle a tad, she's ready for sale. i was surprised at how clean the bottom is considering it's age. found a sticker that said it's mfr. date was 1979.

Awesome , not used much , still has the oem dawgs . 24" or 28" bar ? Seriously considering if I have room on the Stihl shelf for another vintage felling saw . What's your acquaintances price ?

hey walk, didn't measure the bar but i would guess 24". after what i've read, these are a well regarded model? wish it was a S or a mag. :(. i usually check the web to see what everybody else is hoping to snag but there aren't any of these currently for sale, and the local sellers are asking a bunch for the older saw's and their's look old. i'm not sure i could make it worth your while after adding postage?

Yep all the pre Epa compliant carb series Husky and Stihl saws have had a resurgence over the last few yrs . I picked up a muff modded Husky 375 xp last yr fair to good condition as a project saw for competition . A little heavy for my need but a blast in local competitions . I already have a 038 Magnum a few yrs newer than yours 5 yrs ago for $ 400 Canadian just about $300 US with today's exchange rate . If your interested in selling shipping to Northern Michigan would make the shipping feasible perhaps if the price is fair ? Let me know Bud !
