Can the bed fit on another wall with out a window. Seems a shame to put that screen in back of the bed and hide its great silhouette.

Unfortunately all walls have either door,closet or window. Two windows in room.

Just simply do not know how to complement flame mahogany. It is so decorative I am not sure mirrored-faced nightstands and dresser wouldn’t clash. My current fruitwood looks awful. Maybe furniture with black finish?

I love the crown molding idea since I have put it in the newly remodeled areas. I am not sure what a stenciled ceiling looks like. I will definitely look it up. I don’t like blue. I know it is beautiful but unless it’s turquoise it simply doesn’t agree with me. I love the side tables in the pic above ...and I was going with the wall of drapes but they are simply too much work when there is a cat. Maybe a simple shade over the window that blends into the wall color. But I must get a new dresser and do not know what style or finish.

Not turquoise to match with this bed -- it's wrong in tone -- so no to blue altogether.

I don't think the window and the bed can ever be friends. The bed is the central focal item, and the window ruins it. Can you remove the window?

I think the dresser needs to match the bed. This is a formal bed ... it won't match well with an eclectic, collected look.

You are probably right that the dresser needs to match. Isn’t it weird that I hate the dresser that matched the bed...but loved the bed...didn’t think that out well did I? I will keep my eye out for a flame mahogany dresser that is not too ornate.

If you need to hide the window, no drapes because of the cat, then can you cut a piece of plywood or other thin board...the same size as the window...paint it the room wall color and put it up. Maybe the window will sort of disappear so that your bed looks good in front of it. Or how about using shiplap over the whole wall....covering the window and wall completely. Then give us another picture standing at the head of the bed so that it shows the other walls....maybe someone can tell you want sort of dresser would work.

I am going to look into panels to hide the window. Maybe wall paper the wall behinds the bed and make a wallpapered panel on track in front of window

I don't see a panel of any type "hiding" the window. I really think your choices are to remove it or go with a curtain wall.

Does the panel currently behind the bed match the bed? Instead of a dresser, how about getting some sort of wardrobe /chifferobe and having a carpenter cut the panels into cabinet-fronts for that wardrobe?
