This may be a dumb question, but is there any way to soundproof a ceiling of a room that is already finished? I have an office in the basement directly under my kitchen. You can hear everything that happens in the kitchen (footsteps, water being turned on, talking). The kitchen is tiled, the basement ceiling is sheetrocked, and there is insulation in there, although nothing for soundproofing. Any ideas?
