Very pale blue "haint" paint is wonderful on a sunporch. It reflects light so well. Try it. It's a way of bringing the outside sky inside, which is why it's used so often on porches.

Natural wood tones always make a room feel so much more warm and inviting. Even the color of your substrate in that second image would look nice - on a finished product!

I think the pale blue would be beautiful, but you could also stick with white. I would not put wood on the ceiling, which will clash with your floors, and stay away from dark colors so you maintain the light airy feeling of the room.

thought i would show you what my couch for that room looks like in case that helps with suggestions. I also bought the gold lamp and the ottoman in front. I wanted to pull in some navy with a rug a pillows. Would navy go okay with a light blue ceiling?

Gray floors, off white sofa and walls, haint blue ceiling with gold and navy accents? It will be beautiful! Don't forget that the honey wood tones can substitute for gold. They'll also add an "organic" touch which is nice for a sun room. You could even add a dash of green as a nod towards your beautiful garden.

Take a look at Palladian blue and Woodlawn Blue by BM for the ceiling.

With the furnishings you’ve chosen and the tone of the flooring, I kind of think you should keep the ceiling very clean and modern with white on white.

I agree, Sammy. Which is why I'm having such a hard time deciding between white or a soft blue.

The majority of my house is grey and white and lacks color so that's why I was thinking of doing something "fun" on the porch. However, I do tend to lean towards clean and modern.
