We used regular incandescent bulbs. Something to keep in mind with this gray is that it has purple undertones rather than blue (Most grays have one or the other). Yellow is the compliment to purple on the color wheel and therefore neutralizes it so the yellow warm incandescent bulbs should help. However, if it is an open floor plan the colors in the adjacent spaces will affect it too. Also if you color matched it at a local hardware store the variance in color is huge. If not - ask Sherwin and Williams to tone down the purple base (Usually by adding yellow and MAYBE a little black). If that doesn't work try Benjamin Moore's Stonington or Gray Owl. Hope this helps!

Thanks so much for the question. This color was pre-existing and I do not know the color. But it is most likely a builder's beige and something close to it is Benjamin Moore's Grant Beige. Hope that helps.
