Do you have a full dresser in the room? To many small furniture pieces...I would remove the small desk....add a dresser on the wall that has the art and small sofa table...move sofa table over to window area with leather chair..remove small bench at end of bed...here is a rug I think would look beautiful in your space...add some bronze accent pillows...

This needs to be cleaned up. Get rid of all the extra stuff. The picture doesn't work there because of the thermostat the alarm and the light switches. Also, it's too small.

So do you have two rugs in the same room? The one with the brown leather chairs looks like it should go under the bed instead of the one that's there now (too modern). What size is it?

No the brown chair is in another room, but was an option to move. Yes rug must go! I do have a tall wooden dresser i can use just have a very heavy armoir in the room too for TV

If you want to keep that bed, then I would recommend matching sized nightstand that will hold clothing and extend to the floor.
