Are the flat areas of the panelling drywall, or are they the same material as the trim? Thanks much.

Thanks for your question. The molding frames were applied over dry wall. The flat inset areas are indeed dry wall, but painted in the same sheen as the molding to create the effect of bolection paneling.

No cross strips?

I don’t have a finish pic, but the all white looked more subtle. I was worried this would get too busy. I am having trouble attaching pic w my iPad, but the other bedroom we did had more of a square box pattern and looked good.

Probably would have looked good with removing 1/2 of verticals and adding horizontals to have larger square. The triangle area above is partly why I didn’t do squares below.
