The "rule" is the foot of the bed should face the entry door.

Get a more substantial bedside tables. The lamp looks like it's about to fall off. Tiny tables are overloaded.

Agree.....put bed in front of window..add gorgeous substancial drapes...one thing I would change is not adding a sleigh style bed..usually they have a back curved headboard...so they take up a lot of space! Find another style bed a bit more modern rather than traditional for a more updated style......you will be glad you did...do a mix of modern and traditional for a transitional style.

I would put the bed centered on the current wall. Then put up a wall of drapes behind it. that way, you main window is unobstructed and lets light and air into the room.

Thank you everyone for the advice! During this time...the new furniture arrived, new bedding & paint color was updated. The TV is on top of the dresser until we get a tv mount for the opposite wall. Debating on a color for drapes and a way to tie the white of the bedding in to make the room for cohesive. So happy to finally have some balance in this room! Everyone’s input was greatly appreciated!!!

makevsure to hang your rod just below the ceiling..as high as you can..and extend the rod 12” on each side so measure window and add 24” to length of rod.

What is name of wall color. Houzz has some very good drapery at great pricing. Just avoid grommet style. They take up a lot of room. What is your ceiling height? Try to get drapery length right so drapes hang just brushing floor. Account for rings and rod. Don’t hang rod until you have drapery.

Another approach might be to hang a woven roman shade outside mount and then do drapery panels either side. I will post example.

Speaking of the side window, if you do a woven shade on the big window with side drapery panels, you can do a inside mount woven shade on the smaller window with no drapery. Clean, neat look.

If you keep the bed in front of that window, I'd add some wall decor and matching narrow lamps on the nightstands.

The TV appears to loom over the bed. Is it possible to relocate it to the wall between the two doors instead?

I think the homeowner mentioned the TV is being moved to wall across from the bed.
