I’ve determined that the leaf lasts only four months for me. The mother bulb is about 10 inches. This was just the second summer for the bulb on the left. Lots of babies this year. I probably could leave these guys planted in my zone, but I like to separate the babies, anyway, because my small urban garden needs to be kept in control a bit. Pics from August and today.
