I’ve had this plant in my sunny zone 7a back yard for a couple of years now. The pollinators LOVE it. I’ve never seen anything like it. They swarm around it consistently. It dies back in the winter, and is invasive, but it is attractive (mine is about 2.5-3 feet tall) and smells wonderful all season. I have to remove runners several times during the summer because I plant veggies around it. No complaints about that, though. It’s easy. Seems drought-tolerant. Love this plant!

Mountain mints are in bloom right now , and they are covered with a spectacular variety of butterflies, bees, wasps, and moths! These beneficial pollinators all graze for nectar contentedly, since these plants provide enough food for everyone simultaneously, and over a long period of time. From morning until evening these plants are alive with the dance of the pollinators.
