What on earth is killing my lawn? All was good until I reseeded with Scott’s turf builder fall mix and later applied Scott’s green max. The vast majority of the lawn is doing fine but the area photographed has turned brown. Closeup there aren’t any fungus looking spots or webbing on the grass. It’s clean. Just BROWN. And the area smells a little weird. Not like sewer (which I hear will actually make the lawn lusher). Just funky. What could be going on??
