I had my kitchen cabinets installed two years ago and have never caulked them to the floor. I have modern slab cabinets and no baseboard/shoe mold trim. This morning my dog tipped her water bowl and it got me to thinking I should maybe caulk the cabinets to the floor to avoid any future water or dust seeping under the cabinets. Is it commonly done to caulk the cabinets to the floor or leave well enough alone? The cab's are pretty tight against the floor with no visible gaps. Thanks!
