We haven't received any photos of this plan so far, but it's one of our newer designs so there may not be many finished builds yet (Markham Plan #1299: http://www.dongardner.com/plan_details.aspx?pid=4402).

We do have photos of a similar plan that might be helpful (Birchwood Plan #1239: http://www.dongardner.com/plan_details.aspx?pid=3751)! The Birchwood has a very similar front exterior, with a different layout of the open living spaces.

I love this too. HOw hard would it be to put an island instead of a penninsula?

Kitchen cabinetry and the location of the appliances are typically easy to customize! An island in this kitchen will need to be small enough to leave room for walkways around it, which may lead you to relocate the sink and dishwasher.

The Markham is designed with cultured stone and shakes but you are welcome to use real brick and stone on the exterior. We would recommend that you have the plan modified to support the extra weight by a qualified designer.

Also, I see there are 8 foot ceilings in a few rooms. What are the ceiling heights in the other rooms. Sorry for all the questions! I am trying to make a list of changes to submit to you. Thanks!

When it says the ceilings measure 12', is that before or after the tray ? Thanks!

That would be the highest part of the tray ceiling.
