Good news for you ... your plants look great.

African Violet blossoms may take up to a week to reach their full size, so depending upon when buds open, there is a possibility/probability of having some which are smaller (i.e. younger) than others. More good news is that African Violet blooms last for quite a while, ... so that, eventually, all the blooms will basically end up being about the same size.

thanks that is good to hear, these are my first African violets so I have been trying to check on them everyday to make sure there aren't any problems (I have 5 so far).

Also I am so paranoid about pests, especially the cyclamen mites that you basically have to throw your plant away. I had not noticed the size of the other flowers that bloomed earlier I guess. When I saw the small ones I was worried about something being wrong with it.

I was thinking they opened the size they were supposed to be like the orchids I have.
