Can you post a pic so we know what plant it actually is? Money tree is a common name for more than one plant. Also, what kind of medium is it potted in? Watering every two days sounds excessive.

Watering every two days is too much. A good rule of thumb is to stick your first finger down in the soil to the second knuckle (If it isn't too rootbound). If it's dry that far down, water it. If not, don't. It's getting to be fall, and some plants will stop growing and start going dormant. If your money tree is a Pachira, it stops growing in the fall and winter, so what it's doing is normal, unless it's got root rot from all the excess watering.

It is a pachira aquatica and I'm sorry I should have been more specific: I stopped watering him as frequently when I noticed he wasn't growing anymore. Now I water him whenever the soil looks dry but I will definitely do a finger check going forward. I checked for root rot and there doesn't seem to be any signs that Henry has it and his leaves are still nice. He is potted in a natural soil. Thanks for the article and responses!

He's probably just going into hibernation for the winter. What zone are you in? Don't be alarmed if Henry drops a few leaves over the winter. As long as the top if still alive, he'll be fine.

Pachira aquatica is also called Malabar Chestnut and produces edible nuts if planted in the ground and allowed to grow, but they can get very large.

I was thinking dormancy as well. Many plants stop growing during fall/winter months.
