After I began to love hostas---it was later that I discovered the wonderful fall coloring they could have. I bookmarked that thread and put a link below. Unfortunately, some of the photobucket pictures have now been deleted, but there are still some beautiful pictures.

This is a great thread! The fall colours are beautiful. I have a very blue NIOD that I received a division of the very large mother plant this year, and it’s been amazing to see the colour change. I’ll see if I can attach pics next.

My daughter was enjoying all the hard work we did planting that bed and, yes, she is always a ham, comes with 4 yr old territory. As I become more into my garden hobby, I’m trying to keep her occupied with little tasks. Her favourite is digging the holes!

Love the picture of the future gardener! I can't believe it is past mid October already. Some hostas needed cutting down but some are still looking pretty even after multiple frosts and freezes. Here are a couple:
