Having trouble posting

I've been having a real problem trying to post on this forum recently so this is a test. Bear with me. A friend of mine hand stitched this quilt several years ago and as a non quilter had no idea what to do next. I offered to help her get it finished so we took it to a great long arm quilter I know and I did the binding. We got this large queen size quilt back in less than a week and I figured out how to make continuous bias binding. She's thrilled with it and I thought it came out really well.

That's impressive! If I had to hand piece all that, surely it would never get finished, LOL. Binding well done, too! Reminds my of organic chemistry in college.

That is stunning! What a lot of stitching.

Posting has been challenging sometimes. Not quite sure what the problem is.

Wow, Fran, that must have taken a long time to stitch by hand. I remember doing a quilt mostly by hand when I didn't have access to a machine and it was very calming and peaceful. She certainly has a right to be thrilled with it and, you too. You helped make her a quilter. :-)

Very impressive quilt. I had an experienced quilter help me finish my first quilt which was also hand pieced about 10 years ago. I really appreciated her help. Your a great friend.

The trouble posting may relate to the site banning a popular poster, and resultant backlash. They’ve been blocking and deleting a lot of posts.

This friend is 80 so I don’t think she’s turning into s quilter any time soon. She did the hand piecing when her husband was sick with a terminal illness.
