Please ID these 2 Begonias! (Post 1)

This Begonia I propagated off a leaf cutting from a friend, who bought it at a fete at a botanic gardens. I don't think it is fully grown yet, as her plant was a bit larger than this one. Lovely plant, and yes, I intend to make more. Just to safeguard myself if something happens to it.

This one was bought from Bunnings, a couple of years ago. It is nearly black.

I have a variety of plants, as I have a bit of a plant addiction. But only 4 Begonias. I will post the other 2 on a different post. I would really appreciate any advice you can give me. Thanks in advance!

I think both could be Rex Begonia. The second possibly Dark Mambo or similar.

Both are rhizomatous. There are so many cultivars. Rex is usually reserved for rhizomatous Begonias with variegation, but that would be irrelevant to culture.

First one looks much like 'Plum Gorgeous' or second choice 'Caribbean Corsair'.

Seems like the second one should be easy to ID but my memory isn't what it used to be.

Thank you to all of you who answered.

So I have, between the 2 posts, 3 rhizomatous begonias and 1 trailing. The one thing I do know about my begonias is, that they have to grow in full shade up here in the tropics.

I will be exploring the names of these and will try to propagate more of these plants.
