Help with Mediterranean courtyard

I need help with plant choice for the corner-it is a California house, gets shade but hot sun in afternoon so cannot be shade plants.
I would like something taller to fill corner , a small tree, vine...??

PRO13 years agoA "Cupressus sempervirens 'Monshel' P.P. #12,933 Tiny Tower"(from Monrovia) or "Pittosporum Silver Sheen" could work for your space because they can be topped and only get 3' wide eventually and so would not encroach on the walk.
