I'd do something to enhance foundation brick. Brickish red.

I think fuchsia would be beautiful....love it!
It would be nice if you could redo your walk way, to make it more defined. And 2 potted shrubs at the bottom of the stairs.

Love the already mentioned ideas.... you could paint the stairs and the foundation black, both, to add some pizzazz. As for the door, you might also think about a brilliant teal for a pop of color. Your planters and window boxes could hold mounds of the purple and pinks with trailing white vines.... stunning! Take a look at these Houzz pictures for inspiration:

I don't think I would paint the stairs and foundation black. Unless it was a sheer flat color wash. I think you would want almost a gray slat color wash on both. You could bring the black down from the house with planters. Gray gravel drive way and walk way. You want the door to be the star and the other things to ground it. Simple crisp landscaping. It'd be nice to get 2 light fixtures. Shiny silver tone, like jewlery.

Are you keeping the black shutters?

Definitely think mustard gold would be awesome!

I vote for a blue shade, all other things remaining the same.

I like the fuchsia if you add some window boxes and large planters with color to tie it together. Also like teal and yellow, but I don't like the red. Think about what will bloom year-round where you live so you can maintain the color too.

Since you want to add some "POP" to you home we would recommend 2 things. 1) Your shutters are not the proper size for your windows. Since your home is on the smaller side, wider shutters that fit your windows would look great. 2) If you choose to paint your door a bright color, we would match the color of your shutters to that specific color. This will tie in the color scheme. You can then decorate with black hardware like you suggested. All of our hand-forged hardware is in stock and is ready to be shipped.

Color my world RED. I think it would look outstanding on your door. Put some window planters as well. I would prefer a copper planter but i think red is still better.

Take off the shutters. Paint your window muttons a dark charcoal, and then paint your front door anything you want. A cutie.
