What color is your island painted?

Don't make a last minute change! You chose that color for a reason, no one can tell you if it's correct because they are not in your house. With the painter coming tomorrow, you don't have enough time to see any new options in morning, afternoon and evening light. Either post pone, or go with your original choice.

What color is your island? it looks grey in one picture but white in another. I think the grey is fine, but if you're second guessing hold off

I actually love it. I have picked 2 colors of gray for my kitchen and have mock up cabinets to look at in different lighting. The truth is that it looks different in different lighting situations. I think your kitchen is beautiful!

Breathe! Is this the paint for your walls? If so, it will be fine and if not you can change it at some point. In building a house, I found that paint was the hardest decision I had to make because there are way too many choices. At some point you just have to go with it.

Worldly Gray is in the "greige" category (a mix of gray and beige). Worldly gray leans more cool/gray, and another one that is close to that and popular is called Accessible Beige which leans more to warm/beige. But they are both greiges.

If you get $5 samples from SW (or ask your painter to) of those 2 colors (or any others you have been contemplating), and they paint large sample areas on your walls, you should be able to decide pretty quick. Your painters should help you on this by painting large sample areas. It's a normal part of their job.

    • I am in your shoes and I feel your pain. The only advice that I can give is that the paint tends to look a little darker on the walls than on the paint chip.: Good luck. Whatever you choose will look lovely:

I agree with Luckyblueeye, You chose that color for a reason, no one can tell you if it's correct because they are not in your house.

Be brave. The color you chose is going to be great. I think it is a great color.

Worldly Gray has green undertones that I did not see with my prior horrible lighting. After updating lighting, the undertone is now very obvious in my space.

It looks like Elephant Ear and Worldly Gray have a similar hue and similar saturation, but Elephant Ear is darker. They should work together fine.
