This bedroom needs help

I have been trying to complete this guest room without success. Do I put pictures behind the headboard? It looks so empty. What about along side the mirror and dresser? art work?
I need a rug too but am unsure what color rug to get. I have grey wood floors, dark wood bedroom furniture, red leather chair, and a grey dresser....lots of confusion. is there any way to pull this room together?
