Citrus Texas Gardening

Budwood from my own trees

I'm interested in citrus grafting. I live in North Texas (I do not think any HLB has been detected here), so I'm wondering if it's legal or looked down upon to use budwood from my current trees. The grafted tree will stay in my property, and I will not be giving away wood to other people. Can I use my own budwood or should I buy it through a source such as Texas A&M?

It really does,t matter. If your tree,s are healthy why not. You might be interested in other type of fruits also. There is so much you can grow where your at.
