1spud - unbelievable, our farmhouse - near Perth, Ontario is so similar in layout and style, our 2 families must be design twins. Main difference being you started from scratch and we remodelled endlessly ( and continue to) to get where you are, doing the bulk of the work ourselves and salvaging many materials from our own and local ( now derelict farms and factories), Oh how I wish you were closer to see our place. It's almost uncanny. I have 100 questions. I would tire you out with them all.... Suffice it to say- Your place is spectacular - I could not love it any more! Denise
