Need cleaning advice!

I'm in the end stages of a kitchen remodel, just waiting on counters, then backsplash. My old kitchen was 43 years old and I just cleaned it with whatever I had on hand. Windex on appliances, steam mop on the floors, Method for the counters, old glass top range, and cabinets. This is a home with tweens and we cook every day.

Can someone tell me what they use to clean the following:

1. Oak hardwood floors

2. SS appliance fronts (range & microwave are GE and dishwasher is Bosch)

3. Maple white painted cabinets

4. Glass top range

5. SS sink

6. Granite countertops

5. White trim

I'd appreciate the help!

Oh and for my stainless steel sink, I try to do a scrub pretty regularly. I do a dusting backing sofa, add some dish soap and use a sponge to mix it into a sort of paste. I scrub a bit and rinse it and wipe with a microfibre cloth. You can also add a few drops of essential oil for a nice scent :) I got this method from the Cleanmama website which is super handy.

I fill up my small sink with Sal Suds and steaming hot water for general cleaning on counters (soapstone), trim, furniture etc. Sal suds is made by Dr Bronners.

    and homemade 33/33/33 vinegar/alcohol/water for all windows/mirrors/stainelsss.

And Bona on my hardwood floors. (I also use the Sal Suds on my floor sometimes but I think you are not supposed to as far as future refinishing. But that ship has sailed so I figure I will worry about it later because the damage is done).

@liz thanks so much!! did you find the oven liners at Walmart as well? They sound great! It sounds like I need to order some microfiber cloths! Do you just use water on them to wipe the cabinets?

@cleo thank you also for the tips! Where do you buy the sal suds? Also, in the30/30/30 mix, do you use regular rubbing alcohol from the drug store? How do you use Bona on the floors? Is there a special mop?

Mona, I ordered the liners on Amazon, I got 2 for $20 (I have a double oven) and that was in Canada so I’m sure it’ll be cheaper if you’re in the states. I tend to use just water on the cabinets, maybe a little dish soap if there’s a sticky spill. I also bought these Omnicloths that are almost like a thick paper feel but you wet them and they’re meant to clean without any chemicals etc. And they work well on stainless and glass as well (my fridge is Fisher & Paykel and says not to use chemical cleaners so I don’t use stainless wipes on it). I bought 5 for $20 and they’re washable and last for a year I think https://www.omnicloth.com, I bought them through a friend of a friend.

hardwood floors; either Bona or mix of white vinegar and water

SS ovens: weiman spray or wipes

glass top range: weiman or cermabryte glass top cleaner

    SS sink: bar keepers friend

granite tops: mix of water, alcohol and dash of dish soap. i add lavender oil for nice scent

cabs and trim, i am no help, i have wood cabs and wood-stained trim.

and yes to using microfiber cloths!! i use on granite and my cabs.

bona comes in kit: you get mop, the pad, dry pad and spray. just wet the pad and spray the floor. if u don't want to Bona on the floor, just use water 75% and 25% white vinegar in a spray bottle.

I would be careful with oven liners. I thought there was a thread on here about oven liners and how they can melt. Be sure to read the manual for your oven to see what that says with regards to oven liners.
