I played around with the binding by pulling colors from your beautiful quilt.

Gorgeous quilt! This was before I played, but loved this block and also when we did it in blue. Curious what you used for the backing?

I think I would stick with the red and white theme and bind with red.

How about a red and white stripe on the bias? How wide can the binding be, so as not to cut off the points on the corners?

I would go with a dark red binding, solid or print. I like latifolia's suggestion of a stripe too. Your quilt looks great, Vasu.

What a beautiful quilt! I don't remember that month. I'd go with the dark red, I wouldn't want anything to distract from the beautiful floral blocks.

Thank you so much for the mockups. They are very helpful. I’ll go with dark red. I love the red and white stripes but I don’t have any in my stash. If I go to the LQS I’ll come Away with way more than what I need :-)

The backing is a medium red mottled print. No worries about losing the points on the border - I had to chop one off already while squaring.

I know you already made your decision but I have to say I really like that teal color in the first mockup. :) Really makes all the other colors pop. But yes a deep red will also look really nice. :)
