Lap quilt finished

Here is the lap quilt I made for my aunt who is 87 years old. I used 126 different pieces of the fabric she sent me. About 60 years ago when they lived in Taiwan, a dress maker would come each week to make clothes for their family. She saved many of the scraps. I did not end up using the ones that would need stabilizing. There are polyesters and corduroy included. I bought the white fabric and used a scrap of batting. I used the double needle to go along the seams, FMQ hearts in the white blocks, put three wavy lines down the border and tacked the center block in the nine patches. I'll mail if off on Tuesday.

Two of the fabrics are ones I sewed with many years ago, too.
