Important announcement re Eddie Bauer sleep sweater

Many of you know me as the pusher of the EB sleep sweater. I wore mine out, so I had to order a new one. I just received the one I ordered. I just have to say I am in love with this sweater, and I want to enable you all to get yourselves one too. Could also be a great holiday gift. And no, I do not work for Eddie Bauer or have any affiliation AND I don't even like their regular clothing all that much. But this sleep sweater...come on. Big pockets and a hood, too!

I'm usually a Petite M, but I ordered a Petite L because I wanted it to be a little oversized. I'd say it's TTS; a little roomy but not huge.

This is the one I used to have.

I also really like their flannel pajama pants (I've had mine for several years)...which I am wearing now, with my sleep sweater. :-)

I took your recommendation two years ago and bought them as gifts. The recipients loved them, so thanks again for posting about them.

I have to say I couldn’t agree more with Sueb. I have had my grey sleep sweater for several years. I don’t wear mine a lot, mainly inside the house to lounge around when it’s chilly.

And I feel pretty much the same about their clothing although I have ordered a couple of LS t’s in talk sizes and been happy with them. Love their flannel pants for lounging too and ordered another pair this year.

I now have three. I have two of the first one you posted - the hooded version. I ordered one when you first posted about them and wore it so often that I ordered another one last year to have as a spare. However last year's sweater is even nicer since it's just a tad thicker. I wanted the deep turquoise but it was sold out in my size and ordered it in the Tall. I like the tall version even better since I'm just wearing them around the house.

I am another fan. I bought mine at Sueb's recommendation 2 years ago also. I still like it very much. I wore it yesterday as a matter of fact. I wear it not only around the house but also out and about. it is especially nice to take along to a restaurant in the winter. Sometimes restaurants can be chilly. It is also nice as a cover up to bring along when visiting friends overnight..

The website does not show the back of the new sweater. Does it lay flat and how far does it extend down the back?

You know I will have to order one or at least ask Santa for one.

So it’s not something to actually SLEEP in...just hang out in? Bc it totally doesn’t look good to sleep in,.. :) Is it itchy? It’s not all cotton.

I have the one without a hood, but only wear it to lounge in. Too bulky to wear out and about for me. Two years ago I wanted something similar (but less expensive) to leave at my son’s since he keeps the house C-O-L-D! I found a longer version at Wally World and it’s holding up very well. It’s my all purpose lounge and, yes, sleep wear.

Over the years my DH has given me several beautiful robes - but they are all full length and bulky. I wear these sweaters when I've relaxing in the evening or as short, lighter weight but warm robes over my pajamas. But I also buy the extra large size so that I can snuggle in them. I like the fact that they're not as bulky as a sweatshirt.

I bought one for DD that she wears to work.

I somehow managed to avoid this sweater for the last two years, but it feels like I need to check it out if you all love them so much. I get cold very fast and layer tops except on the warmest days of the year (right now I have on LS cuddle duds, LS T-shirt, and a sweatshirt. When I go out, I will add a down sweater & a larger hooded sweatshirt. And a scarf. Honestly.) This sweater looks like something I would get some use out of. TY

Happy2b, the back looks like this.

I have never worn my other sleep sweaters out in public, but I’d wear this one.

Nini, I think of it as an alternative to a robe, not to actually sleep in but to lounge in. In the winter, I tend to put on my flannel pj pants, a t shirt, and sleep sweater right after dinner if I’m not going out. Ok, sometimes even before dinner.

Ah...so it’s comfy clothes!! I love comfy clothes when I am in for the evening. I have mostly comfy pants that I pair with hoody sweatshirts...but this looks like a nicer, more “adult” alternative! :)

I should have added, I forgot that I have ordered active wear in the past from EB and been very pleased. I have a pair of light compression tights and a hooded jacket I wear when jogging or walking that I love. The jacket is lightweight enough to wear out shopping without bulk this time of year over a thinner top, and has pockets!

Thanks Sue.....I just ordered 3 for Christmas for DD and D'sIL. Christmas shopping officially begun!

I've already given them to my two best friends as well as my two SILs...I'm running out of people to give them to! I did get one for my teenage DD, who is a champion relaxer and loves all things comfy.

I have the one-button style. I wear it out and about all the time. We should finally get some cold weather this weekend, so I'll have a chance to wear it to the farmers' market on Saturday.

Now you're tempting me to get the one with the hood. ;)

Thank you for posting the back of the sweater. The back of the hooded sweater is very cute and has a nice line. .I agree it can be worn out. I wear the one button sweater out as I mentioned. I wore it when we went out to dinner the other night.

Yes, I am also thinking about Christmas shopping. I think I will be getting the EB flannel pants for my daughters and young teen granddaughters. My grandsons too who also like comfy loungy.

I am going to check the EB outlet for the sleep sweater and flannels. i saw them there in past years prior to Christmas.

What's so different about these sweaters than any other comfy sweater? Are they laced with melatonin?

I paid $45 for the sweater 3 years ago. Imagine it will get cheaper in the weeks to come.

I love that blue color but I'm afraid the sweaters are a bit too bulky for me. Not to mention the fact that I'm warm natured and probably wouldn't ever wear it to lounge in. (LOL @ terriks)

I just got an email. Try the code NOV60 but this says it's for clearance only.
