I don’t understand why you are asking for votes, as there is nothing on which to choose.

Anyway, you have to fill up the wall. As the chest is too small for the space, you need to buy some fillers.

I’m going to suggest you hang the mirror over the chest vertically. Two floor lamps on either side will provide the fillers and light the space. Tripods do the trick, as this one in the photo.

On top of the chest choose 1 large piece…a decorative bowl, an arrangment of some sort.

Oh, forgot, you need an area rug or a runner for additional texture.

So I vote no because you don’t really have room for a chest. The one you are showing is too small and the mirror isn’t going to reflect anything impactful. I would go with triptych art which is 3 or more pieces that are related. Or a cool graphic wallcovering.

I agree with Judy. The chest is too small on it's own. A longer one would be preferable, but if you use that one get some plants or lights to help fill the space. Since this is an entry hall try to include pieces that are functional as well as nice looking. A bench, a coat tree etc.

Maybe instead of using that mirror (which seems to be small for the entire wall) think of paintings as triptychs so you can cover a great area of the wall in an artistic way.

What you put on that wall would look best if even as big as 75% of the wall's length. Bunches of little stuff just looks like your cast-offs didn't have a real home so they landed here.
