You could do window seat and take cabinets up to that even if you take it slightly around the corner. The cabinets in the pic goes up higher than the window and doesn't look funny, helps probably keeping it all white. Just a thought and window seat could look quite effective and handy, storage too

Irene, that's a great idea to carry a bench around the corner slightly! I think my contractor could handle the build of such a thing great and between me and Pinterest and youtube we could probably handle a custom cushion situation. Wow! Yes replace the tub with an L shaped window seat and then have the cabinetry butt up against that......or just put in a bench and a chair.

In lieu of matching the siding, could you use stone or brick beneath and around a single window in this room or, if your current siding is horizontal, use a vertical siding that matches your trim color of your home?

I’d have to see the rest of the room, but a vanity table in front of the window would be nice!

New contractor has declared the siding totally matchable. So, goodbye window, hello 72" vanity and mirrors. Whew! Thanks everyone though, these were all wonderful ideas! I hope they help someone in the future.

Will there be any other source of natural light in the bathroom? Here is a Houzz picture with windows above the vanity and mirrors. That would still allow you the large vanity, but you'd get some natural light.
