recessed can lighting

hello all, building new construction and trying to figure out what recessed can light we want to put in.

Overwhelmed by the options out there. 2 story house-10ft ceilings on first floor and 9 ft on 2nd floor. any advice or opinions on which to go with (make and model number). i know we want 27k as color choice. thanks!

I think you mean 2700k. People usually go brighter for kitchens but if you’re set on 2700k then that should help narrow down the choices. Look for LEDs that come in that color temp and go from there.

2700k is very orange and warm. Colors will not appear their natural color in such light. Have you ever spent time in a space with illumination at 2700k? 3500-4000k is much more "natural" and comfortable without being cold, as the photos above illustrate.

In our basement remodel, which we took out the entire ceiling drywall, we used Sunco (Amazon 12 for $89) in new build cans. I was wondering if they would work in a new house build. They work like a charm so I am considering them in our new home too.

Hello. I too am building a new house and am wondering f what to do for lighting. I have it narrowed down to lithonia 6in LED waffer from build . com. Or the same thing from amazon, Torchsrar is the brand.

These would eliminate the receesed can all togeth which I like. Im just unsure if I should go such a big purchase for the house from amazon.

Any thoughts on that?!?
