Semidouble. Sometimes additional petals are quite small. Very nicely grown plant.

Saintpaulia - the genus name for African Violet - does not have male and female flowers. Each blossom has both male - anthers with pollen - and female - stigma - sex organs. They can self pollinate.

As far as a name, how about "Bernice"? :-D Seriously though, there are so many similar hybrids out there that you will never find an "official" name with any reliability. Just enjoy it for what it is. ;-)

I use to work with a Bernice in the past. She was and landscape architect. She was so funny!

Specialy by the fact that the color of the flower seems to fade with years ) Are your older violet changing colors with years? I dont meen if you take a leaf and propagate but the reblooming of the same plant?´let's look at this picture: the same violet a year and a half ago.
