tebuconazole is the ingredient in most Bayer products sold for fungal infections. The warnings state 'irreversible eye damage' can occur and you should not get it on clothing (?). A full dressup is required including long sleeves, long pants, socks and shoes, gloves and everything is supposed to be sealed. Rinse water from applicators is supposed to receive special treatment and clothes must be bagged and destroyed or washed by themselves and I don't know what you are supposed to do with that waste water because they do not actually address that. This is all required for just a home application of a Bayer product for fungus on a rose or other plant.

A comment was made several years ago at one of the world agricultural conferences that humans demise would probably result from starvation from inability to successfully raise crops due to resistant viral and fungal diseases.

I wonder if this is another reason I generally dont get black spot as much as others report that they do here in Florida? I also have sulfer well water that helps but still...I quit spraying several years ago. Im not 100% organic because I still use miracle grow once in ahile but I use organic fertilizers and compost/vermicompost most of the time.

I've always been strictly organic, but in the larger scheme of things it's insignificant when almost all of our food and food crops are loaded with chemicals. I've often thought that autoimmune diseases (I have one and my husband was recently diagnosed with another) are the result of the wholesale toxicity of our environment. I have no doubt that one way or another mankind will cause soon cause its own demise. My only regret is all the animals that will go the same way, through no fault of theirs.

Seems unlikely that bayer wouldn't know how dangerous it was, considering they are a drug company.
