Dimensions, please! You've squeezed a lot of storage into a narrow space, is it easy to access? (Yeah, I know, we can always use another 8" of standing room). I'm a firm believer in shallow storage for cans, etc, so well done.

That looks great, and functional! What's the material on the left wall, the horizontal slats used for hanging? I think I've seen similar but can remember where - it looks really useful.

The left side is slat wall like they use in stores and garages. My husband had first suggested peg board but I really hate the look of peg board. Here is a shot of my favorite thing on the wall. Plastic bins that hold my spice and dressing packets.

The Space is 3’ 6” by 7’ 2” and 9' high

Jamie, where did you get those little storage pockets that you have like gravy and taco mixes in? I've been looking around for those, I can't seem to find them. (Of course, I dont know what they are called, so that is part of the problem) LOL

linda117117: they are Proslat 3210 Probin Storage Bin Designed for PVC Slatwall, Small, 10-Pack. I ordered them through Amazon. The main reason I like them better than some of the other bins offered is because they are a flexable plastic (like tupperware) so they will not crack or break if you bump or drop them. Most of the other bins were a hard acrillic that would be more likely to crack or break.

Love the etching on the glass door and everything else.

Having the step stool on hand is a MUST since my new kitchen cabinets go all the way to the top of the 9' ceilings and the shelves in the pantry go up to 8.5'. I don't keep things that high that I use very often but when I do need them the stool is right there handy and very safe with the large platform at the top.

Jamie, I love what you've done here. I've been trying to decide on a layout for my pantry and you've given me some great ideas. What type of shelving did you use? Was it all custom or did you use a closet system? Also, where did you find the shelves for your oils?

Becky: The big shelving was all built custom. This is almost a must if you want to make every inch count and is not as expensive as good quality order to fit cabinets. Find a good local cabinet guy and have him give you a quote. I ordered the lazy susan myself and had him build ther rest around it.

The small shelves with the bottles are from Rev-a-shelf (same company the makes the giant lazy susan). They were supposed to be in my kitchen cabinets but I changed my mind when I found out I would loose shelf space to install them there.

Jamie Ludwig really looks good.. i am currently renovating and looking for pantry ideas so thanks for you post.. is the lazy susan plastic or wood? did your cabinet guy use pre cut shelves and panels and fit them or custom cut?

Fifamom: I ordered the lazy susan in plastic but you can also get it in wood. You can also get "D" shaped and kidney shape if needed in both wood and plastic.

The cabinet guy cut everything. He used a higher end board material that can get wet and the moisture will not destroy them (like happens with the standard partical board).
