Kitchen lighting - help!

We are buying a new home and need some input on kitchen lighting. This chandelier is currently installed, but with floor to ceiling glass windows along the kitchen and a pool outside, as well as two beautiful trees, I think it’s

too aggressive and detracts from what the view will be. Would you remove the chandelier altogether, go for something clear/softer (such as this restoration hardware globe chandelier) and/or install globe lights above the island instead (or in addition to that)?

Ugh. I know vendors are allowed to post on here, but at least they could read the questions first.

I love that RH chandelier but I think you’ve already figured out it doesn’t work in this space...

I think the one that’s already installed (in the kitchen photo) doesn’t work. Do you think the RH globe chandelier doesn’t work either? Would you do away with a chandelier there and just put globe lights over the island?

A can recessed light for the dining area because pool lights will be nice at night with accents for the trees. RH globes could work over the island. I'd locate them not to take away from the view while you're in there.
