Sneak Peak, it’s starting to look like a kitchen!

Cabinets are going in and it’s starting to shape up! Untold mistakes in measuring and ordering by the designer () but between my engineering brain and the installer’s skills (and some needed reorders), it’s going to work out. I wouldn’t be at this point without Houzz! Executive Cabinetry, Willow green.

The color is gorgeous and look how big the opening to the dining area is! Looks fantastic so far!

I just love this colour and can't wait to see the big reveal once it's all done!

I have one question... what are the dimensions of your corner base filler piece on the left of the opening to the dining room? Is that a three inches on both sides? And is that a dead corner? Thanks!

@Liz yes, those are 3” fillers that have mitered face trim pieces on them. It is a dead space, as I didn’t want to give up drawer space on the right or trash pull out on the left. I have a walk in pantry at the other end of the kitchen, so ai wasn’t desperate to use it for storage with a Susan. I actually had planned to open up that dead space from the dining room side and installing a wine cooler, but that plan has been shelved for now. Here is that corner with the fillers. I happen to have a picture.

@Janet Thank you so much! I have a similar dead corner in my kitchen plans, with drawer banks on either side, and where my KD has called for 3.5" fillers. In my head I'm worried that 3.5 inches would be HUGE and I was struggling to find an image of how these would look finished and installed.

Your picture is immensely helpful with me realizing that 3.5" fillers aren't the end of the world :)

Crown and bling today! And more problems. The end panels don’t fit right. I’m thinking my kitchen will have a soft opening for Christmas.

Oh, just lovely! Even prettier now... love your 'bling' choice : ) Sorry about the end panels. Still loving that color.

Thank you! I’m excited to have it all come together.

Wondering how these have held up? Don't see may reviews on Executive that are positive except for yours! Really love a design at a kitchen center but they seem to be pushing Executive. Next step up is Tedd Wood (for 25% more of an already expensive kitchen!). Step down is Waypoint. We are looking at wood stain rather than painted cabinets. Thanks!
