small art and console table for a bigger wall

I have this painting that my mom painted for me, but we moved and now the wall my husband really wants to hang this piece is too big for the size of the painting. Do you think I could buy a 48'' console table, for example, and place the table to the left, center the art according to the table and put a vase or chair or plant on the right side?
the wall is 94". And most console tables that I like are about 48".
would that look weird? Does the table need to be centered on the wall?

PRO7 years agolast modified: 7 years agoI would recommend a console with two lamps. You may have to rehang the art, depending on the height of the piece/lamps.
No need to fill the 94” with the piece.
