I’m like Brad, only one and I posted it in the whites. Razor Sharp and Skater are my favorites. I will wait and see what everyone else has, I bet Nancy is having a hard time choosing from all of her toothies ; )

Okay, Here's my one:

Celeste, I too am not really drawn to toothy daylilies. I do like your unnamed Moldovan. I also feel the same as you about my Barracuda Bay, great bloomer but not the best color.

Like others, this is not a type of daylily I immediately am jumping to purchase! However, I do like viewing all the "teeth" on here and who knows, I once discarded any idea I would ever like spiders and UFs and now have added quite a few to my garden. I did not really think of Entwined in the Vine as a toothy but do see that on yours, Debra. So I do have at least one! I posted two pics of it in another category so will not repeat it again! I do have an old Herrington lily whose name evades me now but it has lots of teeth. I don't even have a photo of it. It is very similar to Celeste's Shattered Glass. And I have admired Debra's Skater, perhaps because it looks like ruffles trump teeth on that one!! And then I remember I actually liked a lot of Bob and Nancy's teeth lilies so I certainly don't want to say I dislike them!!

Wow, those are some awesome pics of toothy daylilies, Debra! I like all of them but Armed to the Teeth and Skater are probably my favorites. I also like the deep rosy color and gold teeth on Love All Serve All, Nancy.

Quite the Bite X Deadliest Catch Seedling

I tempted fate, posted too many and lost the post so here I go again.

Bass Gibson is one of our best toothy daylilies.

Wolverine is one of our best growers. It bloomed like a fool last summer and set lots of seeds. It is not my favorite, however, because in our garden the color is a little muddy.

Love All Serve All is not one of the toothiest, but it's tall and fertile and I love the rose red color. We have lots of seedlings, some crossed with Absolute Ripper, from it that will bloom next summer. I can't wait.

I'm glad that Debra said we could post as many runners up as we wanted. It's hard to narrow down to just a few.

Arnie Oseland is a blooming fool. It's tall with lots of buds. It's not my favorite color and I haven't gotten it to set any seed yet.

Barracuda Bay has been languishing in the shade of a pine tree that has grown quite a bit, but we moved the daylily into a bed spot and it rewarded us by doing well. It's not my favorite color, but it occupies a sentimental place in my heart since it was the first toothy daylily we owned.

Here are more of my runners up.

Bo Diddley looks like it is going to be a great grower. It's not my favorite color, but Bob loves it.

Bodacious Bite has been a great grower for us. It never has a bad hair day. It also sets seeds well.

Cosmic Sensation is not the toothiest in the garden, but it's a nice purple and quite tall too. It sets seeds too.

Crimson Stories has done reasonably well for a southern bred daylily. It is giving us some pretty seedlings too.

Deadliest Catch hasn't been here very long, but it likes it will do well. It has not yet gotten to registered height, but blooms well and sets seeds.

Feeling Thorny has done well for a southern. It reminds me a bit of Bass Gibson, but it is pinker.

Forestlake Becky was a blooming fool last summer.

I was so irritated at Gaudeamus because it just didn't perform well for three years. Then we moved it and it wowed us last summer.

On Your Knees You Will Find Him has been great in our garden. It won't set seed but its pollen is good.

Rosie Cotton's Ribbons does not have the best bud count, but it increases very well. It also reblooms reliably for us.

It's too early to know if Sihir will be a good grower, but it does look promising. It came from Canada last spring and bloomed well for a new one.

Something in My Teeth is taking its sweet time getting established but it definitely has some teeth going on.

Spacecoast Lemon Whiskers is a beautiful yellow with a tall scape and large flowers.

Wickedly Wild and Wonderful is southern bred and never achieves its registered height here. Still, it manages to hand in there year after year and bloom every year. It also is a color range that is not too common in teeth daylilies.

I have some pretty seedlings with teeth too. I'll post the best of those later.

It is possible to delete duplicate postings.

Bass Gibson is a great one, with many progeny. Glowing Quasar grows well here and looks promising.

Wolverine is a very good grower. The color seemed a bit more saturated this year.

The most interesting toothy I found to be Larry's Twilight Bite, even though it bloomed only in a pot. The color seems more saturated than that of many toothies.

Orchids for Minnie X Wolverine

As I stated, I'm not crazy about the toothy ones but that last seedling of Nancy's (Orchids for Minnie x Wolverine) is a WOW. That bright color with those white teeth make it very striking! That's a toothy daylily I would buy.

Actually, Karen’s seedling and Nancy’s seedlings are all very distinctive and those colors!! See, I could learn to like toothies!!

It's interesting that Bass Gibson has done so well for those of you that grow it. It just limps along here. I don't know if it is in a bad spot, or if varmints got to the roots last year.

David - That clump of Swimming with Sharks is impressive.

Celeste - I like the colors on Tangerine Tuesday and Pilgrim on Earth.

Karen - Your seedling has a distinctive look with its color and eye!

Nancy - Sonoran Desert Rose X Crimson Stories stands out to me, and I always like Rosie Cotton's Ribbons. All of My Love to You X Randy Stephens has a gorgeous bloom!

Debra, I found other photos of Tangerine Tuesday. This daylily has different looks depending on the weather. Since it blooms into the late season, if it's hot it will look more like the first photo below. If it's cold it will look like the second photo:

I did not get a picture of Shabby Chic this year. Performed well last year, though would prefer it to be a bit taller.

I forgot Red Ragamuffin, which finally got a place in the garden this fall.

My Thistles and Thorns would not have scared off any predators. Will see what it looks like next year; not a good year for many things.

Thanks Nancy! That cross produced 3 pink seedlings and an orange one. I am with Celeste. I love your Orchids for Minnie X Wolverine seedling. Wow, what a stunning color and beautiful form! Is it even brighter in person?

Karen, to be honest, I am not sure that Orchids for Minnie X Wolverine is quite as bright as the picture shows. I got lazy last summer and used my cell phone to take most of the pictures instead of the Nikon that really does a great job with colors. My cell phone tends to make colors a little brighter than they are. My husband's cell phone makes the color duller. Here is his picture from the same day. I think the true color is somewhere between the two pictures. (And the edge looks yellow in this picture.)

Nancy, thank you for being honest! The second pic is nice too but I love the first one's color especially. I have been burned a few times relying on hybridizer's photos in impulsive purchases. Then there are times where I am pleasantly surprised that my blooms look better than the hybridizer's photos.

Maybe you all do this already, but I always check the shade/color of the foliage. It always helps me determine The true shade on the blooms.

Here is another shot of SWIMMING WITH SHARKS. It put on about 3 weeks of blooms like this and sent up rebloom scapes.
