Windex on quartz countertop?

Is windex safe for quartz counter tops? If I do a google search I can see it mentioned here and there on a few websites. My wife suspects its not good long term. I've tried another quartz counter top cleaner, made by method, and it just leaves the counters looking dull afterwards. With windex, the reflections of lights are crisp. What do you think?

Ask the quartz manufacturer to be sure, but in my mind, Windex is very low risk on engineered stone (often called "quartz"). Ingredients are here: https://www.whatsinsidescjohnson.com/us/en/brands/windex/windex-original-glass-cleaner If you apply and then wipe off immediately, I myself would have no concerns about that.

Check with your manufacturer. I have Hanstone quartz and they recommend only alcohol based cleaners. I have a spray bottle of alcohol and water that I used daily. For bigger messes I use a soapy rag with Dawn dish soap.

My quartz specs recommend Windex, I use the ammonia and vinegar free version. It’s not easy to find though.
