Trying Creoles for the first time.

Almost 3 years ago, we moved from south Arkansas to south central Texas. Brought along with me my hardneck garlic seeds (Music and a couple of rocambole garlic that I've forgotten the name already) thinking there's not much difference in hardiness zone. (7b-->8b). I was wrong. The rocamboles cloves that are forming under the soil started sprouting resulting in an unusable harvest.

So, this season, I planted Ajo Rojo and Rose de Lautrec ( Creoles). I also planted Kettle River Giant. Hopefully, they will perform much better in my new zone. (For that is what I read from my research)

Hope you all have a good garlic harvest for 2019!
