My first guess would be mealybugs. Use Q-tips dipped in rubbing alcohol to remove any and all white fluff and bugs. I recommend that you squash the bugs by wiping them onto a few paper towels and squish them. Some may think it's cruel but necessary if you love your plants Look everywhere on the plant for any sign of white stuff. After you've cleaned the plant, I would also remove it from the pot, get rid of all of the old growing media, wash off the roots and inspect. Then get a new pot (or thoroughly clean the old one) and repot in new media. Then check every couple of days in case there were eggs that hatch. Remove and destroy the same way. Good luck.

not bugs. They are some kind of lumps. I tried scraping them off, but it was hurting the leaves.

Maybe check out viral or fungal damage. There are loads of photos if you search online. I would definitely keep the damaged plant away from your others until you find the problem. Good luck.
