See if Kent City Farm & Garden can recommend anyone.

K Thanks Mark I see a couple of tree services in the area also. I am going to be calling around after 1st of the year to get going on this. Should be breaking ground as soon as the frost is out.

Let me ask you this. Your an architect ? I have a woodstove in the original drawing. I don't want it on the main floor anymore. I want a wood stove in the basement. Is that something i can just tell the builder or do i need to go back the architect and pay him to draw up the change ??

I assume the builder could make the change without needing drawing changes, but someone should look into the maximum length of chimney recommended for that wood stove. There may be some design work needed to the space the wood stove was originally planned for now that it is no longer there, and possibly for the space the wood stove is going into.

The stove was originally meant for the main floor. Just a stove pipe through the roof.

Now it will be down the basement with a stove pipe out the wall and into a cinder block chimney i would think. Had an add-on-wood furnace in a house i use to have and it went into a lined cinder block chimney.

Would wondering
