Hi!

I grow a couple of pear trees. Two of them, older, have their fruits destroyed/deformed by a kind of insect that seems to drill a tunnel to/from the seeds, please, see the image below. Does anybody has an idea what kind of disease is this and how to protect the pear tree/fruits from it?

Any advice is welcome.
