Never trust the colours on a monitor. Go to a warehouse and browse the slabs and bring a cupboard door and a sample of your floor material to see how it all goes together.

go to a showroom where you can see entire slabs. This forum is filled with tons of "But it doesn't match the little sample piece I was given". Always see the entire thing.

Alabaster, the paint color, comes off as a creamier white. if you want brighter white, start w/brighter white cabs, and make sure your kitchen lighting is in the 4000K range.

Both my local showrooms gave very limited slabs of quartz to look at. Another I went to doesn’t have Any slabs of quartz—they said bc “they’re mandmade there is no variation”. Frustrating.

there is variation. sometimes the overall hue is lighter or darker than the sample.

Before you commit to buy an entire slab, I'd want to see it. somewhere. Try a diff company.

Thanks. I saw a slab in the warehouse but the lighting there was terrible so I really couldn’t get a good sense of it. At home the sample I have looks decently white - whiter than the much more expensive but beautiful Caesarstone Calacatta Nuvo (which I can’t view a slab of because the nearest place is much too far). I was hoping maybe someone has used it (the Alabaster White) in a kitchen with white cabinets like I’m planning.

wsilve, did you end up with Alabaster White from MSI? Curious to see pictures of it myself. Thanks!
