Oh Yuk, but honestly it will never be clean.

That's just the color of the water, it looks blue, it's normal here, but it's clean. We cleaned it with a strong chlorine cleaner several times before using it. But I read somewhere that using this type of product might lead to damaging the material from which the jets are made. We can't find any special products for a jacuzzi bath, only for pools where the water is standing all the time.
I read that some people use dishwasher tablets but again it might damage the materials.
I need to find the manufacturer of this tub and contact them about the cleaning recommendations. Just thought that others might have a similar tub and tell us what they are using.

Oh Yuk. It's a terrific product. Used it on the jetted tub in the house I moved into before I ever stepped foot in it -- didn't want to stew in somebody else's funk. I was amazed at what came out of the jets...and kind of grossed out. Had to run a few cycles to get it all completely out. Now, I just use a small amount of the Oh Yuk when I clean the tub, quick and easy and I don't worry about the biofilm.

Thank you both for the recommendation. If we can't find it locally, we will try ordering online.

We did the same before using it for the first time and all the stuff came out. Had to repeat several times and run it long before it was clean. It wasn't used for years.
