Landscaping! Outline your deck with evergreens and plant annuals or perennials in front. I would do an ornamental tree on the right corner of the house and more evergreens or lilacs between the windows over to the deck. Perhaps line the walk from the drive to the deck with more evergreens or hydrangea or burning bush. So much potential, love what you have already done!

Although your house is not very modern, I feel that the deck/stairs are very modern looking. I think adding some modern landscaping will look great. I have attached looks that are modern, but with a few changes could adapt to the style of your house. I think the spaced concrete slab walkway would look really nice paired with the deck. Also a cool twist to the concrete is to add some crushed colored glass (shown in one of the pictures).

Sorry I just took another look at your house and it is more modern looking than I thought.

I would also make the window trim and door a dark color.

I would suggest a row of planters in a modern style to emphasis your walk and the walk could also be made of wood to coordinate with your front deck. I think the more wood the better since there is not wood anywhere else on the front and it would help add continuity.

Love the idea of concrete slab and also the wood. These photos give us some great ideas!
