early spring pics..Clausa popping up in the path along with hellebores and heucheras..the bare spot in the 2nd pic is where I removed a boxwood..I need to move quite a few of these..they've spread too much..I don't think?? I have any more C's..

Congratulations Paula on your anniversary of good health :-)

Peren.all: Wow, your sea of clausa. Last year I added just some hostas. Next summer more, I have two new beds to fill, yippii.

Saija..I like Clausa but it's not very well behaved Lol..don't put it close to a special hosta haha..

Yes Saija I have shared much and it does not even put a dent in it but I do love a good swath especially when it flowers. Saija I remember you posting pics of your lovely new beds, you are going to have so much fun!

    Has yours flowered nicholsworth?

Cherry Berry is a lovely hosta, wish the red petioles were visible. I’m glad I got this photo earlier in the season.....that darn baby bunny decimated this one....
Color Festival is slow getting established.
Cracker Crumbs, such a great little hosta, has multiplied rapidly here.

    Thanks nicholsworth!

I don't know about anyone else, but I've got to look at least once more, from the top, at each letter of the Alphabet! Beautiful hostas everyone! And Paula, I have to laugh each time I look at your jokes!

Saija, your hostas look so neat and tidy with the wood mulch. It's a nice finishing touch! Crumples looks so cute. The name is cute too!

I'm really loving those Cracker Crumbs---Beth, peren.all, Sherry! I was so close to purchasing it this summer. It's on my wish list now.

Curly Fries is gorgeous too. Mine is still small. It certainly has a unique look to it, don't you think?

I thought Cherry Berry was difficult to grow? Doesn't look like it from the pictures above!

    Pretty Cloudburst peren.all!

Lots of different looks to CFRV.

    Love that Clovelly sandyslopes!

Coast to Coast, second year, I think this is going to be an outstanding plant!

    Color Festival

Saija, your Chiquita looks brilliant! Hope to see pics of it this coming spring.

NHL, You really should get Cracker Crumbs. I'm not as much of a mini fan as others, but this is a must-have in my garden. It's my most glowing yellow in the spring garden, even more so than Dawn's Early Light, or the edges on Autumn Frost.

    Lovin that Clovelly, SandyS

Your Cup of Grace is a beauty, mbug, not sure why I don't have it yet.

Ahhh newhostady your photography has certainly inspired me. Leaf pics, especially those with raindrops are hard to resist. Gorgeous!!!

I too go back over the posts because it is difficult to take it all in on the first go 'round. "A" started off my wish list with Saija's 'Adorable' then sunnywood's 'Afterglow'.....

You really do need Cracker Crumbs! I agree it is a bright spot in spring and onward. It is a wonderfully fast grower.

I love the look of Curly Fries. I recall some saying they did not like it but those same people often did not like Praying Hands either. I liked them both from the first.

I have never had any difficulty with Cherry Berry at all and clearly no one else who posted has. To be fair it may be more difficult in warmer zones. Will you give it a go if you get a chance?

Thanks nhl Cloudburst has become a fav.

I am also smitten with sandyslopes Clovelly and I can't wait to get Cup of Grace in the ground. Of course it will never look as good as mbug's! He always says he does not show ones that don't look good but I think he is just a very good caretaker to all of his plants.

Steve that Coast to Coast is a beauty!

Thanks Newhostalady. I admire all mature hostas all mine are still babies. I love wrinkles of Crumples.

Steve: Yes I also wait to see my Chiquita again. I really like it's yellow color. Here is one picture more from later summer

Peren.all. Adorable is great choice Can't wait mine to grow :)

And it doesn't stay yellow whole summer. This picture is from August

    All what peren.all said

But I do have a cherry berry that did not do good

moved it on advice from this forum and it has done better last summer. Fingers crossed for a beauty next summer. It gets more sun and likes it.

Steve, I have been wanting a Coast to Coast for sometime now. Now, I know I can not pass it up next time I see one.

Happy New Year .......health and happiness in the coming year. May all your Hostas double in size!

Paula, great to hear you are in remission. Take care.

Well, I now have my Wish List updated with Cracker Crumbs not only on the list, but in bold and red! That means I'm serious!!!

Coast to Coast does look lovely, Steve and Dave. Being a Olga Petryszyn/Hans Hansen hosta, how could it be anything but good! Thanks for your comment on CB, Shadow.

Thanks for your compliment on my water drop photo/s peren.all. I love seeing those beautiful drops on hosta leaves too. I hope I can get my new camera and take more of those next spring.

Not sure if I will try Cherry Berry. You all make it look easy to grow, but I did read negative comments in the past. But then if I get a good deal on it . . . Thanks for your comment on CB, Shadow.

I also noticed Cup of Grace. Sweet name too. I think mbug grows everything well!

Cathedral Windows has gotten huge in this full sun location, but it fries by mid/late summer. So I hope to divide and move at least some of it this summer so I can have one as pretty as all of yours'.
