I am struggling with getting Ikea doors for our kitchen or having Scherrs make some. We want a simple shaker type style. I want a dark brown (like espresso or dark not-red cherry) but Ikea only has medium brown or black. I am on a budget and semihandmade was expensive. Is it worth the trouble of getting a custom from Scherr's? Should I consider a black from Ikea (their "black brown" is now really black)
