      Love the pergola, something else beautiful is a metal decorative top that gives great shading, this could be installed 0n the top so you have full shade from the bottom and beautiful art on the top. I can create about any design one can imagine

      What is the specific make and model of the retractable awning shown in the pic? I like the fact that it appears to be a separate awning between the beams but can't find it on the 2 aforementioned websites. Thanks.

      The retractable awning you refer to in the original post by hhobrock is a retractable guide wire system which is for sun protection only - not rain protection. We will be adding this product to our website soon. It will be called the Perugia model (see pics below).
